Hi to all of my friends and family! As many of you know, I've gone from having perfect hearing just this past May (2008) to being profoundly deaf before the end of the year. I've decided to start this online journal, if you will, to share more about my experience with going deaf and my upcoming journey back to hearing with the use of a cochlear implant. It's so hard to keep in touch with everyone who cares about me - this blog will enable me to share my journey more easily and to a wider audience.
